How Makeratory handles information you provide when using our website, application, and messaging features.
Information we collect
Makeratory may collect account information, workspace information, information you enter or submit to the service, and technical information needed to operate, secure, and improve the service.
How we use information
We use information to provide and support Makeratory, operate requested features, maintain account security, communicate with users, measure marketing effectiveness, and improve the service.
Optional OpenAI ad measurement
When enabled, our Ad privacy choices control lets you allow or decline measurement across makeratory.com and app.makeratory.com. With your permission, we store an OpenAI ad click reference for up to 30 days and connect it with the start of your workspace trial or your first paid subscription invoice. We send OpenAI the click reference, event type, event time, and, for a payment, its amount and currency. This integration does not send your email address, phone number, payment-card details, or workspace content. We request that these events not be used for ads personalization.
Your preference is stored for up to 180 days. You can withdraw permission using Ad privacy choices. We honor Global Privacy Control for this measurement. Withdrawal stops future submissions once the server confirms the change; an event already sent cannot be recalled through this control. Declining does not affect your access to Makeratory. This control applies to the OpenAI measurement described here.
Analytics and advertising attribution
Makeratory may use privacy-conscious analytics and advertising measurement tools to understand how visitors find and use the site and whether marketing campaigns lead to actions such as visiting the application or creating an account. This may include campaign parameters and advertising click identifiers supplied by the referring platform. Makeratory does not use these identifiers to collect passwords, payment card details, calculator inputs, or the content of a user's workspace.
SMS messaging
If you voluntarily enable SMS messaging, Makeratory may use the mobile number you provide to send transactional or customer-care messages related to features you request, including Capture confirmations, requested reminders, account-related notifications, and responses to user-initiated messages.
SMS consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies based on your use of Makeratory. Message and data rates may apply. You may reply STOP to opt out and HELP for help.
Mobile information, including phone numbers and SMS consent records, is used to provide the messaging service you request. We do not sell mobile information or share it with third parties for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Information may be shared with service providers only as necessary to operate Makeratory and deliver requested messages.
Service providers
Makeratory uses service providers to operate parts of the service, such as hosting, authentication, payments, email, analytics, advertising measurement, and communications. These providers receive information only as needed to perform services on Makeratory's behalf.
